Debbie James is no stranger to the real estate scene on the Emerald Coast, working both as a real estate agent and co-founder of Paradise Beach Rentals with her husband, Michael. The couple ventured into real estate for personal reasons while living in Atlanta, with Debbie earning her license after moving to the Florida Panhandle in 2004. Prior to a career in real estate, she earned a degree from Hofstra University and worked in sales, eventually climbing to the No. 1 spot in the company.

Today, Debbie is enthralled with the real estate process, from negotiating contracts to working closely with buyers and sellers to help them find their perfect fit along Scenic Highway 30A and from Destin to the west end of Panama City Beach. As a Global Real Estate Advisor, she works diligently to develop relationships and employ digital tools to aid both her business and her clients. As co-founder of Paradise Beach Rentals, she understands both the purchase and rental sides of homeownership, an all-in-one approach her clients have come to appreciate.

In her free time, Debbie enjoys playing golf and pickleball, reading, and being outside, whether biking, walking or exercising. She and her husband have three rescue pets, a dog named Diggy and two cats, Jazz and Charlie. As a kid, she grew up riding horses and had a dream to qualify and ride in Madison Square Garden, a task she completed, giving her a real belief in this idea: You can do anything you want to do if you put your mind to it.
